e1 – Humanities
To mark the end of our session on Asia, e1 students had lunch at the Mekong Asian Cuisine restaurant in Chinatown. Students had a choice of several delicious Asian dishes from the menu. Upon our return to school, students did research on the origin and history behind their chosen dish.
The humanities IRPs were completed and handed in by all students on Wednesday. There is a wide range of unique topics including caracals, anime, cherry blossoms in Japan, the Dead Sea, Lebanese cuisine and prison camps in North Korea to name a few. I look forward to reading them!
A special thank you to Sam who made and shared Japanese cherry blossom cupcakes with the class for dessert.
